The Amazing Jerusalem Makeover
Come experience "The Amazing Jerusalem Makeover". Rehearsals have begun every Tuesday (except Feb 17) from 4:15-5:15 pm in the parlor for the winter-spring musical for those presently in kindergarten through 9th grades. The show will be presented on Sat, April 18.

Families in Service - looking towards summer 2009
This year Children's Ministry will once again offer a large variety of opportunities for families (and the larger Bethany family) to participate in outreach projects and trips throughout the summer. Under the direction of LauraLeigh Young, the ten member planning team is prayerfully considering many options for service. The three "big trips" will be: (a) Hong Kong/China - date TBD, (b) Ensenada, Mexico - July 11-18, (c) Vancouver Island - August 8-15. Watch for more information.

Third Grade Bibles
On Wed, Feb 4, our 3rd graders will meet with Pastor Dan to learn more about how he studies the Bible and how the Bible is central in our worship. Then on Sun, Feb 8, our 3rd graders will receive their Bibles during the 9am worship service, as the culmination of their "Bible Milestone Unit." They will lead a responsive reading at both the 9 & 10:45 am services.

Session Notes
On Tuesday, November 13, the Elders gathered in the Parlor for the monthly Session meeting. The meeting began in prayer and John Chase pointing the group toward Christ. We reviewed the 2008 Year End budget and giving and finalizing and approving of the 2009 budget. Pastor Dan led discussion on some topics that will be presented at the upcoming Seattle Presbytery Meetings. This discussion focused on what the Bible has to say about homosexuality.
